Your mission
The main purpose of the role is to drive the commercial success of programs by managing financial deliverables, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Act as the primary commercial liaison between the company and customers, focusing on negotiation, pricing, and business development.The position is based in Skara, Gothenburg or Färgelanda and will carry responsibility for our operations, regardless of the specific site. Travel to our facility in Färgelanda and to customer sites is required.

Responsibilities
           Lead the commercial sides of program

Manage financial and commercial activities for new, facelift, and change programs — ensuring alignment with budget and profitability targets.
Create and present detailed quote packages (costs, capital, pricing strategies).

Track program financials, identify improvement areas, and report performance to leadership and stakeholders.
Be the Voice to the Customer

Act as the main point of contact for all commercial matters, building trust and ensuring transparency.
Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and terms to secure win-win outcomes.

Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts.
Own the Financial Oversight

Monitor key financial metrics — pricing, costs, tooling, and capex.
Prepare financial updates for internal reviews and customer milestones.

Ensure all commercial deliverables meet internal and customer quality standards. 

Collaborate to Improve and Innovate

Work closely with Program Development, Engineering, and Plant Management to align on commercial goals.
Drive cost-saving initiatives (VA/VE) and support profitability throughout the product lifecycle.

Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across departments.
 
Champion Compliance and Safety

Promote and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
Support and comply with IATF 16949 and other relevant quality standards.
Act immediately on any safety or environmental concerns.


Candidate profile
We are looking for a commercially minded professional with a university degree in Business, Economics, or a related field, and at least 3-5  years of experience in commercial, finance, or business management roles within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate has a strong background in customer negotiations, contract management, and commercial strategy, along with excellent financial analysis and reporting skills. Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and IATF 16949 standards is highly desirable. You should be fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken, and additional language skills are a plus. You are also well familiar with Microsoft Office. You are a strategic and flexible individual with a hands-on approach and a willingness to travel to support key programs and customer relationships will thrive in this role.

What will be your responsibilities?
Working collaboratively across borders and industry sectors, internally and externally to Schneider Electric you will report into the General Manager for the Nordic and Baltic Countries and will operate as part of the NESSA Hub Business Development team. You will ensure business development is a focal point of Schneider Electric Process Automation within the Baltic & Nordic territory across a wide range of industry sectors including (but not exclusively) O&G, MMM, WWW, Pharmaceutical, Power, Food & Beverage as well as automotive and energy. Co-ordinate deal crafting and positioning, lead or participate in contract negotiations. You will be located in Sweden.
What are we expecting from you?
Leadership qualities are essential; you must be able to communicate a compelling vision and inspire and motivate customers/ prospects to drive the business growth, combining these qualities with strong organizational and entrepreneurial skills.
• You have a background in Background in DCS, Safety system and PLC/SCADA solutions.
• Innovative, creative and flexible in your approach, entrepreneurial.
• Articulate, with the ability to think with agility, responding to the different needs of our customers, our organization and the teams
• At least 5 years’ experience of selling within a matrix organization, ideally in a large corporation and good internal stakeholder management

International Automotive Components Group AB är en av de ledande Europeiska leverantörerna av interiöra och exteriöra system samt akustikkomponenter till fordonsindustrin i Europa och globalt. Koncernen har 29 fabriker varav tre finns i Sverige. IAC´s svenska verksamhet finns i Göteborg, Färgelanda och i Skara. Vid Skara enheten är vi ca. 450 anställda som konstruerar, producerar och levererar inredningskomponenter i nära samarbete med kunder och leverantörer. Att jobba som Business Manager

Du kommer framförallt att ha ett kommersiellt ansvar för befintliga och nya affärer hos en utav våra största kunder. Du ansvarar för alla ändringar, förbättringsarbeten och övriga kommersiella förhandlingar med kunden. I dina arbetsuppgifter ingår uppdateringar och kontroll av prislistor, volymer, samt uppföljning av nyckeltal. Du förväntas vara närvarande hos kunden och stötta i eventuella tekniska och avtalsfrågor. Du rapporterar till senior business manager.

Vem söker vi?

Vi söker dig som har minst 5 års erfarenhet från fordonsindustrin i en liknande roll. Vi ser gärna att du har god kunskap inom produktionsteknik alternativt mekanik. Du är van vid att arbeta med stora kundkonton inom vår bransch och har en högskola/universitetsutbildning inom teknik eller ekonomi.

Det här jobbet passar dig som är affärsmässig, analytisk och flexibel i ditt arbetssätt. För att bäst klara denna rollen bör du vara lösningsorienterad, inlyssnade och kommunikativ. Det är viktigt att du trivs i ett högt arbetstempo och är stresstålig.

Som person är du nyfiken och engagerad och du har lätt för att sätta dig in i nya situationer och arbetsuppgifter. Du har goda svenska och engelska kunskaper i tal och skrift, besitter goda kunskaper i Office-paketet och har lätt för att sätta dig in i nya system och program. Det ses som meriterande om du har erfarenhet från liknande roll inom en internationell koncern.
